Platform-specific input guide

Turn a public TikTok reference into a usable prompt

Use the full browser URL for a public post or a vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com share link. Short links are resolved by the downloader before analysis. Profile pages, hashtag feeds, photo carousels, and private posts are not individual downloadable video sources, so paste the URL for the specific video instead.

TikTok references often combine quick cuts, speed ramps, handheld movement, text overlays, and tightly timed sound. The analyzer records those visible and audible choices, then turns them into model-ready direction. A clean source without baked-in interface controls gives the best framing analysis; creator captions and watermarks may still appear as elements in the reference.

Accepted URL shapes

  • https://vm.tiktok.com/SHORT_CODE/

What works best

  • Public posts with an accessible share link
  • Vertical edits with readable cuts, gestures, and captions
  • Original posts rather than compilation playlists

Length and access limits

The analyzed source must be three minutes or shorter. Public links work; private, login-only, region-blocked, live, or DRM-protected sources may not be downloadable.

URL analysis depends on yt-dlp, which is not included in standard Vercel functions. The tool checks the current server before accepting a link and fails fast when the dependency is absent.
